Great sushi bar! The special rolls were fantastic. Staff was prompt and friendly for an out-of-towner / non-regular, which isn't always the case in sushi bars. Would definitely come again!

This place knows how to treat their clients. Constantly with a very friendly attitude. The food is conveniently priced, always flavorful and neat.

We often go to Ahi Ahi at lunch, the service and food are always good. Poke bowls, Ramen, Edamame, Sushi are all good. Good hot tea and iced green tea. Seating can be limited and come early if you have a party larger than six.

The only highlight of this place is the service. The nigiri sushi tasted very fishy, rolls were heavily sauced with mayo, ponzu sauce, and loaded with lots of filler (e.g. cucumber and imitation crab meat). The prices are the same as competing sushi restaurants in the area which offer much higher quality fish such (e.g. Taiko in Irvine).

They are so nice and they work really fast to prepare your to go order. They have a very good Bento plate if you like a variety. They take pride in their food. Can’t wait till we can dine in again.

Convenient location to Hilton Garden Inn, Lake Forest. Excellent selection of sushi. Reasonable cost and great attentive service.

Yesterday was our first time we came to that excellent restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last time. We had great time with the generous service, with the first-rate dishes and fine drinks and with the modest payment. We will absolutely visit there soon.

Ahi Ahi is my favorite sushi restaurant in the area. The food is always super fresh. Try the Bluefin Tuna sushi and all the rest. They also have the real wasabi available if you ask.

This is a tremendous sushi bar and grill, my grandson and I go there once a week for lunch and I cannot recommend it any higher than as a repeat customer week after week. If you get a chance try the lobster dynamite it’s unbelievable.

The meals and service were ahead of my expectations. We absolutely loved the atmosphere of this spot. Amazing place to take my family out for dinner.

We love eating out. Yesterday we found this magnificent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We passed a delightful evening there with great cooking and an experienced team and a great cook. We added this place in our phone list and we will surely return soon. We deeply recommend.

One of the better Sushi and Japanese places in South County. Good quality Sushi with generally good entrees/plates. Small plate selections and appetizers are good with a small selection of robata style skewers

I take my family to this great spot many times a year! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I visit this spot routinely. The meals are great, the team is friendly and the cost is good. I like being in this spot for a rich lunch.

My new go to sushi restaurant for South OC. No set omakase menu, so the chef dishes up whatever he feels like. That's how it should be in my opinion. The fish is very high quality and reasonably priced. I could tell that everyone at the bar were regulars, and they just added two more to that list.

Fish is fresh, delicious, and skillfully prepared by real sushi chefs. The seating is comfortable and the restaurant is very clean. Service is the best! The staff refills my water, soda, and removes empty plates without me having to ask. Best sushi in OC I believe this place deserves 5 stars!

They are amazing! Food is amazing - tasty and fresh, service is amazing - everyone is quick and polite. Love the sushi bar with hot green tea, the kitchen is delicious too. Have yet to try their impressive selection of alcoholic beverages. They have happy hour Mon-Thur 5-7, after that time good luck finding a seat, it's so popular! Really one of the best sushi bars out there. The crowd is pleasant toom as some other reviewer has mentioned.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of each dish

I had beef ribs eye yakiudon which was pretty good. Portion was really big and they also cooked my steak medium rare which I asked for. Just wish they use a little less of oils to cook since it was a bit greasy. The atmosphere is perfect to have a casual conversation.

Not a bad meal but there are better Japanese restaurants in the area. We had the combo meals and they seem reasonable value for the portion size you get. The tuna sashimi was tough and tasteless, other sashimi looked like it had a road accident. Service and friendliness of staff is good thought. We had a problem with one of our dishes and they dealt with it very professionally.

Great fish, super nice staff. A bit on the expensive side. Totally worth trying the stuff on the board.

Food is unbelievably good. Shelly was an awesome server. I would go out of my way to come here. I am from out of town and this place is unbelievable. Don't waste money anywhere else. Go to Ahi Ahi and ask for Shelly

Very friendly Sushi Bar/Restaurant with a strong menu of non-seafood options. Very busy on the weekend (a good sign IMHO) so phone orders or reservations recommend

I love pho. I am all pho aficionado. I've been to pretty much all pho restaurants within la. Most of the places use inordinate amount of MSG. While it taste good, you pay for it later with bloated feeling because you have to drink so much water Z.This place is MSG free.

This is my favorite place to get sushi in Lake Forest. I ordered the sashimi plate (I think 10 piece?) plus two of the tuna belly. It was all very fresh, and nicely presented. It may be one of the best sashimi plates I have gotten in the USA. Service is a tiny bit slow but the entire place has a relaxed atmosphere. My husband got Udon with chicken, it was so big he couldn't finish it, but I think it would make a great item to share between two or more people. This is definitely a surprise for the area which can be hard to find good food in.It is kind of tucked away in a shopping center, the parking lot is not on a main street but it is easy enough to find and I feel that parking is usually not a problem. I would go here again. Probably wouldn't bring my kids but I think there are enough options that they would enjoy if I decided to take them here.

Owner and staff are excellent. They have a great alternative to some of the better Japanese restaurants in Costa Mesa/Tustin.I don't know that we have run into the same patrons twice yet, but the crowd here is always awesome and fun. We love it.When I want Honda Ya but do not want to drive, which is often, I head here.
